Welcome to GADS

We are a drama group based in Grundisburgh and have been running since 1978.

We usually put on a play in May/June each year and a Pantomime at the end of January.

We’re a very social group and as a member of GADS you can join us for a summer BBQ and a Christmas meal or party.

We meet most Wednesdays in Grundisburgh Village Hall from 7.30 pm for play readings and rehearsals.

We take a break in July and August for the summer holidays.

Children’s rehearsals, when required for Pantomimes will generally start earlier at 6.30 p.m.

Annual membership fees as at April 2026 are £25 for adults (18 and over) and £10 for children.

There are many roles available within GADS, you could audition for a part in a play or Pantomime.

You can help in other roles suchas Front of House, Staging, Light and Sound, Chaperoning, etc.

Alternatively, you may wish to support the group by becoming a Patron.

You will get your name in show programmes and preferential access to tickets.

The annual fee for being a Patron as at April 2026 is £25.
